I have always been drawn to alternative health methods; herbal remedies and
energy healing.
One day several years ago, I came home from working at a health insurance company, feeling just fine, when all of a sudden I got a very intense burning sensation in my left hand. I looked down at my hand and the area where this pain generated from was blackish purple. I immediately became frightened because I know heart attack symptoms occur on the left side of the body. Before I could even make it to the phone the pain shot up my left arm across my chest down into the right arm. I drove to the hospital not knowing what was happening to me. As I got inside the hospital, I could not feel my arms and I was having chest pains. They ran all kinds of tests that night, could not find anything. But, as the night went on the pain was now in my legs. I left the hospital not knowing anymore than when I came in. I pulled up into my driveway, turned off the car stepped out and the numbness was now in my legs. I made it to the front door, barely. Inside the house I clapsed, had no feeling in my body at all. For the next 3 months I was partially paralyzied. For a year, I went to every doctor and specialist I could find, had every test run on me that could be, to no avail, nothing was ever found to be wrong. Every test came back negative.
I decided to fix the problem myself. I detoxified physically and emotionally, used energy healing techniques and herbal remedies I was taught at a young age and within weeks started regaining feeling in my body. I know the importance of balance and harmony in my life reflects the outcome of my health. And that is why I became an Herb Specialist, EFT Practitioner and use other energy modalities in my practice.
My Alternative Health practice is located in Augusta, GA. The goal is to bring about an awareness of natural healing methods, and allow people to make a choice about their healthcare, so what happened to me will never have to happen to anyone else.
